APCOM is a great neighbor!

L to R: Mike Galloway, Larry Lillard, Jon Ferrell, Brenda Hauk, Deeann Macomber, Eddie Goodwin, with Katy Braly in front.

L to R: Kate Snow, Deeann Macomber, Bobby Pazouki, Eddie Goodwin, Jennifer Pewitt, Mike Galloway, Cathy Hudnall, Stephanie Bray, and Justin El-Urfali in the back.

APCOM employees wanted to learn more about what we do and what our needs are. Representatives visited BrightStone and shared our mission and vision with the entire company. A giving opportunity was presented to all employees, and they responded in a huge way! At Christmas they presented lunch coolers for all BrightStone adults and staff! Then, last week, we received not only a new LCD projector......but additional funding for Special Olympics and other programs! They've even offered to share professional expertise with us for specific needs. We can't wait to invite them to come see us at Special Olympics! So....a "shout out" to APCOM employees! Thank you!

Prudential Woodmont Realty supports BrightStone

Last Friday Connie Harvey and Lindsay Boyd of Prudential Woodmont Realty stopped by to visit......and brought us a wonderful contribution from their company! Wow! We love unexpected gifts! Community support is what makes BrightStone be all that we can be for our adults with developmental disabilities. Thanks for thinking of BrightStone!

BrightStone has a Van!

Recently we received a cargo van from the Brockman family of Suburban Lawn. This will help us tremendously in transporting products to and from craft fairs, in transporting groceries each week, in moving items to and from our storage area.....and so much more! Thanks to Jim and Rita for their generosity!

BrightStone Christmas Parties

Students celebrated Christmas with a wonderful party on December 18, at which they exchanged gifts, had a visit from Santa, and enjoyed cake and ice cream.

BrightStone's Community Christmas Program

On December 10, our adults celebrated Christmas by providing a heart-warming performance at Jamison Hall in the Factory at Franklin. Over 300 friends and family members attended this annual event, which was produced by Judy Fincannon. And this year was even more special, as BrightStone celebrated our 10th anniversary, complete with a birthday cake! Both City of Franklin Mayor, John Schroer, and Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson delivered proclamations on behalf of BrightStone's accomplishments. Jo West provided refreshments, and Matt Britt provided photography services.
