7th Annual Songwriters Night

Over 350 guests recently attending BrightStone’s 7th annual Songwriters Night were treated to a special evening of mission and music that truly touched their hearts. Interspersed throughout the evening were interviews with BrightStone students and staff, keeping topmost the mission and vision of BrightStone. The musical performances throughout the evening showcased local talent. Kicking off the lineup was local favorite Jack Grant, followed by several selections by the youthful musical talent of Alannah Rudd, Jordyn Shellhart and Natalie Shuff. The highlight of the evening was Jamie O’Neal with friends Stephanie Bentley, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Minnie Murphy. They simply “wowed” the crowd with their powerful and emotionally charged performance in the round, which included a variety of audience favorites. Auction Photos from Songwriters Night

For the first time ever, a silent auction enhanced the evening and provided a variety of products and gift certificates for the bidding pleasure of the guests, including several unique and beautiful ceramic pieces designed and signed by BrightStone adults. A signed guitar from Kenny Chesney was a hit as a live auction item. And as always, a wide array of BrightStone gift and decorative products was available for purchase. Valentine's Day Treats

Kelly's solo!

Valentine's Day brought lots of fun and laughter to BrightStone. A special lunch was held, with many of the staff members attending as well. Valentines were distributed with the help of Ms. Lynne's beautiful golden retriever.

The BrightStone adults entertained the staff with special musical selections. A special treat was provided by a friend of BrightStone--a "singing valentine"! A ladies quartet from the Tune Town Chorus Show came and serenaded the BrightStone adults with a special Valentine song....and then joined BrightStone adults in the singing of their all time favorite--Elvira!
