Star of the Week: Sarah
One of Sarah’s talents is being a good dancer. She may need to try out for Dancing with the Stars! On her birthday last year, she composed and read a really sweet letter to everyone at BrightStone. One of the lines in the letter said, “I love my new friends at BrightStone and I don’t ever want them to go away.” How priceless is that? Sarah told us her BrightStone favorites include working in mixes, bowling, playing basketball at the YMCA, computer activities and helping Theresa cook lunch. Good job, Sarah!



Star of the Week: Tara
Tara is a very caring young lady. She is always concerned about all of her friends at BrightStone. Tara takes pride in her work and says mixes is her favorite work area. Tara is a girl who knows what she likes and her BrightStone favorites include computer activities, using the exercise machines, cooking with Theresa and grocery shopping. Tara’s birthday is Monday – we will do our best to make it a happy one. Congratulations, Tara!

Happy birthday Katie!

Today we celebrated Katie A's birthday in style with bright, pretty decorations, Chick-Fil-A, lots of smiles and plenty of sunshine. Everyone is in high spirits today, especially sweet Katie who was glad to share all the birthday love with her friends!

Star of the Week: Kim
Kim is BrightStone’s official southern belle. She has a great southern accent! When she first came a few years ago, we all just loved listening to her talk. She never meets a stranger and is always ready to introduce herself. Kim is a good painter and says painting pots is her favorite job. She also enjoys riding the recumbent bike, bowling, and doing worksheets in the learning lab. Way to go, Kim!



Star of the Week: Mike
Mike is unbelievably happy when he is selected star of the week. He treasures his friends and enjoys being here every day. Mike is also a big country music fan and is rarely caught without a pocketful of CDs and pictures of his favorites. He takes pride in his work and gives his best effort to all of our jobs. His favorite job is mixes. Mike’s other BrightStone favorites include computer activities, basketball at the YMCA, going to the library and saying the prayer before lunch. Good job, Mike!

Star of the Week: Barbra C.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in a good mood all the time? Just ask Barbra, she knows. She always has a smile and is easy going in most every situation. Barbra is a busy lady and enjoys many social community activities. She is also a consistent worker. Her favorite work area is mixes, and her other BrightStone favorites include computer activities in the learning lab, helping cook lunch, bowling and playing kickball at the YMCA. Way to go, Barbra!





















Star of the Week: Jennifer
Jennifer is a part-time student. She works at the Brentwood Harris Teeter and will be celebrating her 10th anniversary there soon. Having a job for 10 years is a great accomplishment! She looks forward to her days at BrightStone and her favorite activities include working in mixes, riding the exercise bike, bowling, computer activities and cooking. We are proud of you, Jennifer!

Allen is a man of few words but always gets his point across. He has a great smile and is always ready to join in all of our activities. Jessica is just a girl who wants to have fun! She really enjoys being around her BrightStone friends, but she is also a good worker when it is time to get serious. Her favorite work area is mixes. Her other BrightStone favorites include worksheets in the learning lab, grocery shopping, playing basketball and praying before lunch.
